Items of furniture can be completely stripped down and reupholstered or just re-padded and renewed with new fabric.

Sustainability

Wherever possible I attempt to reuse and recycle the materials for my upholstery. Where that isn't possible I try to source environmentally friendly materials. The beauty of upholstery is that you are renewing an existing piece instead of replacing it and you can transform the look of your furniture with carefully chosen fabrics and trim.

Wood restoration

I have also learned many techniques for restoring wooden furniture, antique or new. I can revive and repair wood where it maybe stained or has lost patina or finish. I can paint pieces where appropriate and make small repairs to joints, woodworm damage and general wear and tear. Please contact me to find out more and see examples.
